Lars Gjerde - Piano, Jazz Piano, Organ, Music History, Church Music Skills

Long-time church musician and performer, experience teaching and leading children and adults. Doctoral candidate in organ performance with Prof. David Higgs, one of America’s leading concert organists, at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Master’s degree in organ performance, sacred music diploma, and secondary organ teaching experience from Eastman. Director of Music at Bethesda Lutheran Church in New Haven, CT.

Brett Judson - Piano, Organ, Music Theory, Accompanying, Church Music Skills

Extensive experience in church music, musical theater, and as a concert artist. Teaches secondary organ lessons at Yale. Master’s candidate in organ performance with Prof. Martin Jean, world-renowned church musician and performer, at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. Undergraduate degree in organ with Prof. William Porter, Eastman School of Music. Associate organist at First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan, CT.  

Scott Perkins - Music Theory, Composition, Voice

International prizewinning composer, versatile singer, award-winning scholar, and highly praised instructor of music theory, aural skills, and composition at the Eastman School of Music and at Nazareth College, Rochester, NY. Featured soloist on professional recordings. Ph.D. in composition with Prof. Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, Eastman School of Music. Master’s degrees in music theory and music theory pedagogy from Eastman. Studied pedagogy with former chief faculty advisor for AP Music Theory Exam.
